Filed under: News , UFC , Videos BANGOR, Maine –  Tim Boetsch delivered a vintage performance in front of his home state supporters when he rallied from behind to knock out  Brad Tavares at UFC Fight Night 47. The victory provided flashbacks to Boetsch’s (18-7 MMA, 9-6 UFC) UFC 144 win over Yushin Okami due to the fact he stormed back from a rough first round to stop Tavares (12-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) with strikes in the second stanza. It was arguably the most resonating performance on the card, as the Maine native sent fans into a frenzy with the gutsy effort, handing Tavares his second consecutive defeat. The bout was part of the main card of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 47 event at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. It aired on FOX Sports 1. Check out the highlights above
