Filed under: Featured , News , UFC , Videos SAN DIEGO – The promise of a heavyweight slugfest is not always fulfilled, but Frank Mir ’s crushing knockout of Todd Duffee delivered on the pre-fight possibilities. Mir (18-9 MMA, 16-9 UFC) and Duffee (9-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) came out swinging with wild bombs from the opening second of their bout. Both men landed some heavy shots, but it was a thudding left to the chin of Duffee that left the young heavyweight face down on the canvas and had Mir’s hand raised after just 73-seconds
