Aubin-Mercier (7-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) grinded out a dominant unanimous decision over Sims (12-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) after spending much of the first round searching for a rear-naked choke finish. The lightweight bout was part of the main card of Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 74 event at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
