Shane Campbell SASKATOON – Looking to shrug off his unsuccessful UFC debut, Shane Campbell shut down Brazilian Elias Silverio ’s grappling game to take home his first win in the promotion’s octagon. Campbell’s (12-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) success on the feet and ability to negate Silverio’s (11-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) offense on the mat led him to unanimous scores of 29-28. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 74 event at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims and a main card on FOX Sports 1. Campbell gets back on the right track after a first-round TKO at the hands of John Makdessi in his UFC debut in April. Silverio suffers his second straight loss after three straight wins in the octagon
