Derek Brunson PITTSBURGH – Roan Carneiro only made one mistake against Derek Brunson , but it was one too many. After missing with a lunging punch, Carneiro (20-10 MMA, 3-4 UFC) fell to the floor, with Brunson (15-3 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in hot pursuit. After a furious flurry of punches, Brunson snuck enough punches through the guard of Carneiro to force the TKO stoppage, earning the victory at the 2:38 mark of Round 1. The middleweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 83 event at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh
