But most importantly, he controlled the center of the cage throughout and picked up a split-decision victory. The win came in front of Thomson’s home fans and sent them into a chorus of boos when the decision was read. The bout was part of Saturday’s UFC on FOX 12 event at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. It aired on FOX.
