UFC Signs Croatian Broadcast Deal

The Ultimate Fighting Championship ®  (UFC ® ), the world’s premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, on Monday announced a partnership with Fight Channel, the European satellite and cable television channel which specialises in combat sports. The channel had previously broadcasted UFC events within the region but today have signed a new agreement to show further UFC programming including The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) US reality TV show, specialised programming and documentaries, and archive material such as ‘Best of Pride’ which includes the best of Croatian born MMA legend Mirko Cro Cop’s fights. Fight Channel have been joined by leading broadcast channels from Europe, Middle East and Africa including BT Sport, Setanta, RTL9 and C More to be part of the exclusive group of UFC rights holders, who will provide programming as demand for the world’s fastest growing sport intensifies
