Urijah Faber LAS VEGAS – Several UFC fighters took to Twitter immediately upon the announcement of Phil “ CM Punk ” Brooks’ signing with the promotion, and not all of them looked charitably upon his addition. Some were downright dismissive or mocking. Not so for ex-WEC champ and perennial UFC contender Urijah Faber , who looked optimistically at Brooks’ foray into real fighting after a decorated career as a pro-wrestler. The way Faber sees it, if Brooks’ mind is right, his lack of experience – i.e., no professional fights and training only in jiu-jitsu and karate – isn’t the problem it appears to be.
