Yuri Villefort ’s career trajectory has gone from undefeated prospect to unable to win a fight. He’s back on an upward swing of late, though, and he wants to keep it that way. Villefort (8-5) experienced an ugly five-fight losing skid from 2012-2015, three of which came under the UFC and Strikeforce banners. He’s won his past two contests, however, and wants to make it three-straight against Cody Carrillo (11-12) on Saturday at Victory FC 50. “To tell the truth, when I started out fighting, I did it too fast,” Villefort told MMAjunkie. “I wasn’t ready physically.
