Askren (14-0), the ONE Championship welterweight titleholder, meets Santos (61-9-1) in a rematch at ONE Championship 32, which takes place at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. It streams as an online pay-per-view in North America. Askren and Santos fought to a no-contest at ONE Championship 26 in April. Santos had arguably more success than anyone ever had against Askren in terms of defending his takedowns, but an eye-poke from Askren brought the bout to an end at the 2:19 mark of the first round. Askren told MMAjunkie that he felt Santos “played up” the eye poke because he was fading in the fight.
