Fighters such as Sage Northcutt and Paige VanZant have stirred up controversy for the UFC’s willingness to push them before they’ve proven themselves in the octagon. Northcutt (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) and VanZant (6-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) both lost their most recent fights and are also both featured in the debut episode of “UFC From All Angles: Fighters on the Rise.” Also featured are Cody Garbrandt (7-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Al Iaquinta (12-3-1 MMA, 7-2 UFC).
