While in Las Vegas on assignment, Fowlkes headed to Syndicate MMA to meet up with Nelson, who’s fought most of the heavyweights who fight on Saturday’s UFC on FOX 13 main card. Check out the above video as they discuss the headliner between former champion Junior dos Santos (16-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) and fellow contender Stipe Miocic (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), as well as a main-card bout between Alistair Overeem (37-14 MMA, 2-3 UFC) and Stefan Struve (25-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC). Their network-televised fights take place at Phoenix’s U.S. Airways Center.
