A bout between Yoel Romero and Brian Houston is off after Houston had to bow out due to a medical issue, according to UFC Tonight. Romero vs. Houston was supposed to have taken place as part of the UFC 164 preliminary bouts streaming on the UFC ’s Facebook page. Instead of trying to secure a replacement for the Aug. 31 event, promotion officials decided to go with a 12-bout fight card instead. Houston was already a replacement for Romero’s original opponent Derek Brunson. UFC 164 takes place at the HMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
