Cage Fury Fighting Championships officials informed MMA Junkie that Gasan Magomedsharipov (2-0), the younger brother of UFC featherweight contender Zabit Magomedsharipov, has elected to withdraw from next week’s CFFC 82 event. Magomedsharipov (2-0) was expected to face Ali Zebian (4-1) in a lightweight contest but decided to pull out of the event when Zabit’s fight with Yair Rodriguez was indefinitely delayed by an injury to “El Pantera.” Magomedsharipov made his professional debut this past December and fought twice in a week’s span, proving victorious in both contests
