Filed under: Featured , Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos SASKATOON – Frankie Perez swerved the MMA world at UFC Fight Night 74 when he retired from the sport  after the most significant victory of his career. Perez (10-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) scored a 54-second knockout of longtime UFC lightweight Sam Stout (21-12-1 MMA, 9-11 UFC) and in his post-fight interview said he’s going to walk away to dedicate more attention to his family. Many wondered why Perez would retire at just 26 years old after earning a victory that put him on the map in the 155-pound division. He said he would have done it regardless of the result and is more than happy with his decision.
