A controversial middleweight contest left Tim Kennedy with an orbital injury, according to UFC 178 medical suspensions released today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. After rocking Yoel Romero in the second round, Kennedy succumbed to a flurry of punches in the third round of of the pay-per-view bout at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. He is now restricted from contact for one month and must receive clearance for his injury in order to avoid a six-month suspension
