If he does, however, the popular Irish fighter could be champ Jose Aldo ‘s next challenger. UFC President Dana White cautioned, however, that McGregor (16-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) doesn’t have an easy road to the belt. He defended critics of the featherweight’s next fight, a headliner opposite Dennis Siver (22-9 MMA, 11-6 UFC) in January at UFC Fight Night 59
